Abstract

The paper is an attempt to draw attention to the lack of focus on the soft aspects - cultural side of the human capital. The paper examines the need for and the importance the cultural caiptal for rapid and sustainable development of the K-Economy. Mere intensification of training and education opportunities and active support for k-based ventures are necessary but not sufficient for this national drive. The many dilemmas are highlighted and some roadmaps sketched to support the K-Economy quest.
