Abstract
The purpose is study the correlation between peace and human development, by using statistical and econometric tools like SPSS software to accept or reject the notion or hypothesis of the correlation between these two variables. The method will be quantitative, hypothesis tests, correlation tests, testing the Global Peace Index, and the Human Development Index. The implications can be in the public politics of the governments, for example if the homicide rate per 100.000 people is reduced, how much does the Human Development Index improve. Until now peace and development theories are qualitative based because of the absence of data. With this paper I offer proof of some of these theories by using new data from more than 156 countries since 2008 to 2014.
