Abstract

This article examines the notion of student involvement in a higher education study based on character traits of millennial students. The research will offer ways to consider instructing students of this generation in higher education music programs. This article explores instruction with a theoretical framework grounded in several existentialist principles. These principles may offer ways for teachers to enter into student-teacher relationships, which may lead to students determining their outcome, thus leading to enhancing student involvement and engagement in higher education.
