I have completed ESOL from University of Cambridge. I am a qualified BEC trainer. Later I did various courses and workshops on communications from various professional trainers. Have done a course on theatre from London school of drama. Theatre is a universal form of human expression and makes learning memorable and experiential. Interest lies in a career path with heavy analytical duties and responsibilities. Highly energetic and team spirited with a strong work ethic able me to fill numerous teaching and training roles. I have an experience of thirty years of working, in total. A fast learner with high energy and a drive to exceed expectations. Willing to travel. The founder chairperson of ATREE the first school of its kind in Gujarat. Have had the experience in training in India and Abroad, in countries like Botswana and Kenya. Have conducted training programs for many corporate sector and students. I was with Bishop Johnson School in Allahabad for four years. Worked with Woodstock International School as a Nutritionist. Have conducted drama classes for the students of St. Joseph School, Pune. The training has helped people develop worked related key skills such as: Working as part of team; contribution of ideas; ability to use their own initiative; take positive criticism, time management and communicate well even when under pressure. At present I am working with DSK ISD. Here my emphasis is on Communication Skills, Presentation Skills and Corporate Grooming. I also take care of, Portfolio Building. I am also involved in student’s welfare activities and counseling is also a part of my profile. -I have been involved with the Expo for these students. -For the first time for this college brought out the E-Magazine for the college. -Now I am working on the Newsletter for all the three colleges. Have released two issues for the year. -I have been involved with the drama club of the college. Would also like to mention that I as a faculty was responsible for all the activities related to Professional Development and Lifestyle Development at ISBM. This responsibility asks for guidance and counseling in carrying out the activities, calling corporate guests for talks, organizing events, calling celebrities from the Film industries and many more. Would also like to mention the various responsibilities that I have been handling in ISBM: - Established relationship with media for PR interventions. - I have also been handling events for the college. Have organized musical and cultural events. Controlled, planned and organized major brand events like Crescendo and Forza of ISBM. Planning and coordinating with vendors, suppliers and public providers was a part of my involvement. - Controlling and coordinating with Ad agencies and outdoor publicity agents and vendors, to ensure high visibility and impact at lower cost. - Have been involved in formulating key communication messages. Worked on ISBM website. - Have travelled to various places for branding purpose. Have held seminars and workshops for branding in various cities and towns. - Have been involved with Educational exhibitions for branding of the institute. - Have written a lot of articles for various papers and magazine on my subject, which also helped in branding. Apart from this would also like to mention: - Have been the Chief Examiner for few subjects for ICSE board. - Being a theatre artist, I can write scripts, direct stage shows. - Written and directed plays for schools in Pune. - Have worked with mentally challenged children. My very recent achievement: My publication of Feb ’13 in the International Journal is officially indexed with the International and National Science Library, Paris. Less
